One of the most known logos in Denmark
The Danish Society for Nature Conservation is the largest nature conservation and environmental organisation in Denmark. We are committed to conserve and protect the natural environment in Denmark in order to secure a future, where natural forests and meadows rich in biological diversity still exists and clean drinking water is still obtainable.
The organisation consist of:
- 135,000 members
- 95 local divisions
- 100 employees
- 1500 volunteers
The characteristics of the Common brimstone (Citronsommerfugl) were used to create this simple and recognisable logo. The clear, translucent and vibrant colours of its wings are used as the core expression of the logo and the catching extra black eye on the wings as the attention grabber. Now running on +15 years since its creation – it is a nationally recognised logo for The Danish Society for Nature Conservation – who is more relevant now than ever.
