Focus on customer centric simplicity
DCC Energi wanted to renew their focus on how they deliver and communicate energy deliverables. To accommodate this, I focused on simplicity in UI, UX and overall messaging – with a clear mission that the site should be easy to build and maintain for the marketing department, while ensuring a pleasing aesthetic.
DCC Energi had a recent developed CVI, so the objective here was to push the existing design guidelines making DCC fit for digital purpose. I did this by introducing “the energy wedge” – taking the slanted shape from the CVI and pushed it further. Vibrant, light and fresh colours, better use of white space, gradients and typography makes the site – and DCC Energi – look a lot more welcoming and contemporary.
I developed several concepts communicating the need for a more sustainable approach to energy supply – DCC Energi being a provider of mainly non-renewables with a clear intention to transition to sustainable energy sources like wind and electricity.
