How to show all the uses of a Holmegaard Future Glass – and introducing Pomplamoose to the Danish public
Do you remember the funny flip books from your childhood? The ones where you could assemble e.g. a person in three different sections, changing his face, torso and legs by changing the flaps. That was the concept of the ad for Holmegaard Future drinking glasses. It was easy to show all target groups that would use the glass by changing the content of the glasses and by showing hands of all genders and ages.
I was really into Pomplamoose at the time – the American indie duo with Nataly Dawn and Jack Conté. And although they were a YouTube sensation with their home made, quirky videos – the broader public in Denmark did not know them. For me, that was the perfect occasion to introduce them and I think it adds personality and quirkiness to the otherwise slick look of the ad.
