How I changed the vibe of the Peytz office. The IT development company wanted to have a more creative presence. Enter Pink Clouds 🌥️💖
The solution to creating a new and creative vibe in the large open space office room was a giant 4x4 meter Pink Cloud vinyl. I created the clouds piecing them together from clouds formations and working with just the right amount of pink to make them stand out – as well as setting a calm and aspiring atmosphere in the office.
The creative vibe was enhanced further by removing the dull and ugly office furniture placed in front of them – replacing the furniture with a cosy sofa, cool oak lounge chairs and colourful lighting. The result was a dreamy, poetic and creative vibe – a place where you can think creative thoughts, where the sky (or the pink clouds) is the limit!
The same dull office vibe was present at the other end of the room. I chose a slate green wall colour and put up a giant pegboard in raw plywood – custom made by laser drilling the holes.
To tie the two ends of the room together, I placed a high table with bar stools with softly shaped overhanging lamps. For sketching, for chatting or for meetings – it works like a free space without a specific use.
Suddenly the IT-company was a little more creative 🌈🦄
